KISS.
By Neamar
KISS is a small Android launcher built around typing. Neamar's app finds apps, contacts and settings from the first letters, and it promotes results you actually choose. The store text says it never connects to the internet, stays about 250 KB, and is GPLv3+ software that everyone can use, change and share.

The F7 Insight
A launcher that starts from the keyboard treats the home screen as a search box. That is a useful contrast with drawers full of icons, especially on a phone you want to open and leave quickly.
A closer look.
