Rigs of Rods.
By Petr Ohlidal and Rigs of Rods contributors
Rigs of Rods is a free vehicle sandbox that treats machines as flexible structures. Cars, trucks, boats, aircraft and machinery can bend and break as they move, and the official builds run on Windows and Linux. Multiplayer servers hold up to 64 people. Extra community vehicles stay under their own creators' licenses.

The F7 Insight
The interesting part is the chassis, not a scripted race. A beam-and-node truck can fold in a way a normal driving game hides, which makes experimentation the point of a session.
A closer look.
- 01
Simulate cars, trucks, trains, boats, aircraft and heavy machinery with soft-body physics.
- 02
Walk around a scene, enter and leave vehicles, and spawn more than one at a time.
- 03
Join a public lobby or a private server with up to 64 other players.
- 04
Download official 64-bit Windows and Linux builds from the project site.
- 05
Treat community mods as separately licensed; the core project does not claim them.
