Unexpected Keyboard.
By Julow
Unexpected Keyboard is a lightweight Android keyboard that types extra characters by swiping a key toward its corners. Julow first made it for programmers using Termux, and the readme now presents it for everyday typing. It says the app has no ads and is open source. Google Play and F-Droid are both linked. The readme does not state a monetary price.

The F7 Insight
A keyboard that hides the extra symbols in the corners of each key is a better fit for a phone than another long-press popup. Unexpected Keyboard is the rare input app that started from a terminal workflow and still explains the gesture in one sentence.
